VTG Successfully Organizes Ayodhya FAM Trip 2026

The Varanasi Tourism Guild (VTG) successfully organized a three day Ayodhya Familiarization (FAM) Trip, aimed at providing tourism professionals with first-hand experience of Ayodhya’s hospitality infrastructure, tourism facilities, and service providers. The initiative was designed to help members gain deeper destination knowledge and deliver better travel experiences to their clients.

One of the key highlights of the trip was a productive meeting with the Deputy Director, Uttar Pradesh Tourism, where participants discussed the growing tourism potential of Ayodhya, upcoming developments, and opportunities for collaboration within the tourism sector.

During the FAM Trip, participants visited several of Ayodhya’s leading hospitality properties. The itinerary included lunch at Hotel Padamshree Palace on 19 June, a one-night stay at Hotel Ramada Encore with High Tea, Dinner, and Breakfast, followed by lunch and a property tour at Hotel Taj Ayodhya. Members also explored Ayodhya Resort, visited Praveg Tent City, Brahm Kund with refreshments, and toured Hotel Awadh Samrat to gain a comprehensive understanding of the city’s accommodation offerings.

The participants also had valuable interactions with hotel representatives, local tourist guides, and transport operators, allowing them to exchange ideas, understand service standards, and explore future business opportunities.

VTG believes that such FAM Trips play a vital role in strengthening destination knowledge among tourism professionals, enabling them to recommend hotels and travel services with greater confidence while enhancing customer satisfaction.

Expressing gratitude to all participants, the Guild appreciated their enthusiastic involvement in making the FAM Trip a grand success. VTG also announced that its next FAM Trip is scheduled from 29 June to 1 July 2026, with detailed information to be shared shortly.

The Ayodhya FAM Trip proved to be more than just a destination visit—it served as a valuable platform for networking, learning, collaboration, and discovering new business opportunities within Uttar Pradesh’s rapidly growing tourism industry.
